9.45 am with coffee or tea, a short demonstration and a run through of the recipes. In the morning we will be concentrating on Tapas, which you will have for lunch with a glass of wine, In the afternoon we will be making other Spanish favourites for you to take home. Recipes covered may include: Demonstration Tortilla Prawns with Romesco Sauce (Gambas con Salsa Romesco) Fried Padron Peppers (Pimientos de Padron) Practical Gazpacho Broad Bean, Ham and Quails Egg Salad (Habas con jamón y huevos de codorniz) Meatballs in Spicy Tomato Sauce (Albondigas con Salsa Picante) Empanada (A Galician speciality – yeasted pastry enclosing pork, chorizo and peppers)

Savour the bold flavours of Spanish cooking with our Flavours of Spain Class. This hands-on day is a celebration of Spain’s culinary traditions, from traditional tapas to comforting regional dishes. Begin with coffee and a short demonstration before preparing a delicious tapas-style lunch to enjoy with a glass of wine. In the afternoon, you’ll continue cooking an array of Spanish favourites to take home with the recipies and knowledge to recreate them again and again.

The recipes made on this course contain the following: EGGS, NUTS, SULPHITES, GLUTEN

This class is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians but cna be adapted to be gluten-free.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or special accommodations required at the time of booking. We will be as flexible as possible, when we can, so as to be inclusive to all students but we may not be able to substitute ingredients in the recipes.

We do everything we can to reduce the risk of cross contamination, however we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment and therefore our kitchens may be unsuitable for students with severe or life-threatening allergies.

Our one-day workshops and short courses are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Children aged 14 or 15 may attend with an adult over 18.

On the day, the school will be open from 9.30am and the class will begin at 9.45am. The class will be finished by 3.30pm, depending on the course and class size it may finish earlier.
